Website Terms of Use

Rules governing access to and use of the Skip the Bio website.

Effective date 24 September 2026

These Terms of Use apply to www.skipthebio.com and related webpages operated under the Skip the Bio brand by August Three LLC. By accessing or using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

About the website

Skip the Bio presents interviews, editorial content, information about guests and projects, and information about media, production, partnership, sponsorship, and related services. The website may also allow you to purchase or make payments toward services. Website content is provided for general informational and promotional purposes. Nothing on the website creates a client, agency, partnership, fiduciary, employment, or other professional relationship unless we accept the engagement through a written confirmation, signed agreement, or other express acceptance.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the website. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use the website only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. You represent that you have authority to agree to these Terms for yourself and any organization on whose behalf you use the website.

Intellectual property

The website and its content, including the Skip the Bio name, logos, show identity, interviews, audio, video, photographs, text, graphics, designs, clips, compilations, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to August Three LLC and are protected by intellectual property and other laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. You may view the website and share links to publicly available pages for personal or internal business reference. You may not copy, download, reproduce, modify, edit, create derivative works from, distribute, sell, license, publicly display, publish, scrape, archive, frame, mirror, train an artificial intelligence system with, or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission. A social platform’s native sharing function may be used only when the shared content remains unaltered, retains its attribution and branding, and links to the official source.

Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Use the website in violation of law or another person’s rights.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, accounts, systems, or data.
  • Introduce malware, interfere with website operation, or evade security measures.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, monitor, copy, or index the website without written permission,

except for ordinary search-engine indexing that follows our technical instructions.

  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent an affiliation, endorsement, or source.
  • Submit unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, infringing, confidential, or harmful material.
  • Use website content or our names and marks to imply endorsement of a person, company, product,

investment, political campaign, or cause without written approval.

Inquiries and submitted materials

You are responsible for information and materials you submit. You represent that the submission is accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you may lawfully provide it, and that it does not violate confidentiality, privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other rights. Submitting an inquiry, guest proposal, biography, pitch, deck, photograph, link, or other material does not create an obligation to review, respond, produce, publish, return, keep confidential, or enter into a relationship. Do not submit confidential, proprietary, medically sensitive, export-controlled, or legally privileged information unless we have first agreed in writing to receive it on that basis. You grant us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to access, copy, store, and internally share submitted materials solely to evaluate and respond to the submission, coordinate an introduction requested by you, protect our rights, and maintain appropriate business records. Any broader production, publication, promotional, or commercial rights must be addressed in a separate written agreement or release.

Purchases and payments

The website may allow you to purchase services, pay a deposit, pay an invoice, or make another authorized payment. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing information and represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method. Payments may be processed by a third-party payment processor under its own terms and privacy policy. The price, scope, deliverables, schedule, usage rights, revision rights, deposit requirements, installment dates, cancellation terms, refund eligibility, and other service-specific conditions shown at checkout or contained in an accepted proposal, statement of work, order form, invoice, or signed services agreement are incorporated into these Terms. If those service-specific terms conflict with these general website Terms, the service-specific terms control for that purchase. Submitting payment does not by itself guarantee that we will accept a project, reserve a production date, publish content, provide a particular guest opportunity, or deliver services not described in the applicable service-specific terms. If we cannot accept a payment or engagement, our responsibility is limited to returning the amount received for the unaccepted service. Unless the applicable service-specific terms state otherwise, amounts are quoted in United States dollars and do not include taxes, duties, bank charges, or processor fees that may apply. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge the amount displayed or otherwise agreed. We will not impose recurring charges unless the frequency and amount are clearly disclosed and you expressly authorize them.

Cancellations refunds and disputes

Cancellation, rescheduling, credit, and refund rights are governed by the service-specific terms accepted for the purchase. Except where those terms or applicable law provide otherwise, completed services, work already performed, production expenses already committed, and nonrefundable deposits are not refundable. Any approved refund will generally be returned to the original payment method. Contact us promptly at studio@skipthebio.com if you believe a charge is incorrect. You agree to give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve a billing issue before initiating a chargeback, except where law or your card agreement gives you a nonwaivable right to proceed otherwise. Fraudulent or abusive payment disputes may result in suspension of services and recovery of permitted costs.

Editorial content and no professional advice

Interviews and other content may express the views of guests or third parties. Those views do not necessarily represent our views. Content may be edited for length, clarity, format, or presentation. The website does not provide legal, financial, investment, medical, tax, or other professional advice. You should consult an appropriate professional before acting on information that may affect your rights, health, finances, or business.

No investment offer or endorsement

References to founders, companies, investors, products, technologies, opportunities, fundraising, or transactions are informational and do not constitute an offer, solicitation, recommendation, due diligence opinion, or endorsement. We do not guarantee any guest statement, company claim, investment outcome, introduction, financing, partnership, audience size, distribution result, or business opportunity.

Third party links and services

The website may link to or embed third party websites, platforms, products, or services. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, terms, or privacy practices. A link does not imply endorsement.

Copyright concerns

If you believe material on the website infringes your copyright, send a written notice to studio@skipthebio.com that identifies the copyrighted work, the material at issue and its location, your contact information, a goodfaith statement that the use is not authorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act, and your physical or electronic signature. We may forward the notice to the person who supplied the material.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all express and implied warranties, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement. We do not promise that the website will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, August Three LLC and its affiliates, officers, personnel, contractors, licensors, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, business interruption, reputational harm, or losses arising from reliance on website content. Our aggregate liability for claims arising from the website will not exceed one hundred United States dollars. These limitations do not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless August Three LLC and its affiliates, officers, personnel, contractors, licensors, and representatives from third party claims and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the website, your submissions, or your breach of these Terms. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by our willful misconduct.

Changes suspension and termination

We may change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the website. We may also update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Continued use after the revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance. Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain effective after access ends.

Governing law and venue

Florida law governs these Terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from the website or these Terms must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking appropriate injunctive relief.

General terms

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any service-specific terms accepted at checkout are the entire agreement concerning general website use and online payment. A separately signed agreement controls if it expressly conflicts with these Terms regarding a specific service or project. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited only as necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with our business or website.
